A Serene Weekend with ED2 Members

March 12th, 2011 ~ March 13th, 2011: Electrical Design 2 Department went for a mini trip to Ilham Beach Resort, Port Dickson.
I never been there before. The accomodation was good. A double-storey apartment with 4 bedrooms. My husband and i arrived around 5:00pm and checked-in to an apartment shared with Hawa and Im. Supposedly our apartment occupied with Safarina and Munirah too. Unfortunately something else came out last minute. Too bad, they couldn't make it. However, Safarina came for dinner accompanied by her niece and nephew.
That evening, instead of walking by the beach, we (Me, My husband, Hawa and Im) went for a walking up to the Tanjung Tuan Lighthouse. It took 15minutes walking up to the hill and 15minutes down. I looked at my watch. In a glance, i noticed that it was 6:30pm. Wow, could we walk as fast as possible to see the sun set? Hmm..it was quite tiring walking through an inclined route, but the scenery was awesome.

Climbing up this route is damn tiring!

That night we had a barbeque dinner prepared by the Ilham Beach Resort. All i can say is the foods were tremendous and well prepared! Hope ED2 will organize this kind of outing again! but to a different destination yup! No more Port Dickson! Hahahaha...

Jacaranda

Have you heard about "Jacaranda" before? Some of my friends asked why did i name my blog with "White Jacaranda". Well, i always say that it is my favourite flower. Even though i never see it in Malaysia but through my eyes Jacaranda is beautiful.

Jacaranda is a genus of 49 species flowering plants in the family of Bignoniaceae, native to tropical and subtropical region of South America, Central America, Mexico and the Carribean.

The most often seen is the Blue Jacaranda (Jacaranda Mimosifolia). The flowers are produced in conspicuous large panicles, each flower with a five lobed blue to purple blue corolla. However, a few species comes with white flowers, and that is my favourite - "White Jacaranda"
